Enrollment:

All prospective students and their families are welcome and encouraged to visit and tour the school. Students currently enrolled in a Montessori Program will be automatically accepted. Additional openings are limited. Interested families shall schedule appointments for tours and student visits as part of the application process.

• Hours: 7:45-2:25
• Homework Club is offered from 2:25-3:30 M-F

Transportation:

• Busing will be offered to all students in the Greenville School District
• A bus will pick up and at DeColores Elementary daily. TBA

REQUIRED EXPERIENCES

Chore/Kitchen Duty: Students take part in a regular rotation of chores and kitchen duty. This takes place during the school day under staff supervision.
Music: All students participate in orchestra.
Community Service: Students are required to perform at least 9 hours of community service per quarter. This can be performed in the community or at DeColores Montessori School. Each student is responsible for making arrangements and keeping track of their hours.
Field Experiences: All field experiences are mandatory. Details TBA

Farm Dress Code: Apparel required to keep on site:

• A pair of rubber mud boots/work boots
• A pair of work gloves
• An extra outfit appropriate for the current season

-Students should dress daily in comfortable clothing appropriate for the weather conditions.
-We do not recommend clothing with logos or advertisements.

Extracurricular Activities:
Art Club, Chess Club, and Choir are some clubs facilitated through DeColores Montessori. Students within the Greenville School District may participate in any of the athletic extracurricular activities offered to students at the Greenville Jr. High. Parents are responsible for arranging their own transportation.
